I was surprised at the recent news that the hospital “required improvement.” My 95 year old mother was admitted to the hospital on three occasions in the past six months. Each time she had excellent support from the paramedics who visited her prior to her admittance. Once in outpatients contact from the medical staff with me, as her next of kin, seeking background detail was reassuring and valuable in assessing the best course of treatment. The ward staff communicated with me and everyone from the dietician to the physiotherapist kept me informed. I cannot fault the care my mother was given during her final months.
"I cannot fault the care"
