"Competent and Caring"

I became unwell one Sunday this month which required some treatment at A&E. I can not thank and praise the department enough. A diagnosis often means you see a specialist in that field but in A&E the expectation is that they will deal with everyone’s various needs, from toothache to heart attack, no matter how many are waiting. I was triaged quickly, given treatment, had several tests, then spent 24 hours on the observation ward. At every step the staff made me feel confident and safe. All I witnessed were highly skilled staff doing a brilliant job under extreme pressure. A big thank you to A&E and the Observation ward for your skill and commitment.
