"Out patient department"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

I attend the outpatients (lipid Clinic) on a regular basis and have always been treated with respect, and explanations of my visit explained in great detail. Doctors give you as much time as is needed and time to ask as many questions as needed.

I have to say, though that at times, the waiting area in the above dept can get very busy and times waiting for bloods to be done can be very long. However, this is just a small observation on my side.

Thanks again to all concerned in the Lipid clinic department.

Thank you for your comments posted on the NHS Choices / Patient Opinion website regarding your care in the lipid clinic, in the outpatient department. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the service as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to hear that you thought that Doctors have given you as much time as you needed to ask questions. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the doctors and the staff involved.

Thank you for your comments on the outpatient waiting area and the length of time it can take to wait for bloods. We will of course mention this comment to staff involved with a view at looking at improving the issue.
