"Caring and professional staff"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I had to be treated for an SVT in Monkland’s A&E. While there was a wait to be seen, once called I was treated by staff who were all caring and professional. Taken to the Resuscitation Area the nurse who was with me, Kirsty, was very friendly, reassuring and attentive. In the midst of the current demands on the hospital and hospital staff the 2 doctors and 2 nurses who attended me within the Casualty Unit were a credit to the NHS. My thanks to them.

Dear Quaich

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback around your recent attendance at the Emergency Department, University Hospital Monklands.

I apologise for the initial wait you incurred in the department, however was pleased to read that following this you were treated by professional and caring staff. This is the level of care we strive to provide to our patients and it will be my pleasure to share your positive feedback with the team.

Best wishes and thanks again for your kind comments.
