"Beatson Outpatients"

For the last 6 months I have been attending outpatients to see my consultant Dr Jamrs and Dr Norwich.

Prior to seeing them I am always welcomed with nurses who will do my weight and blood pressure.

Having previous experience there I know everyone and they still make an effort to treat me as a patient and ensure that I am calm before the the consultation.

I cannot fault all staff that have attended me over the last 6 months.

On one particular day I had attended the appointment on my own and discovered I had to be admitted as an emergency due to spinal issues.

This if course was very upsetting. Christie and Lynn on the were fantastic and ensured I remained calmed and helped me call relatives and get me transferred to the appropriate ward

 They always kept everything professional.

I will no longer be attending outpatients as my treatment was unsuccessful and had to get emergency spinal surgery. However all staff in outpatients are an absolute credit to the NHS and should be proud to work there. Well don everyone!
