Unfortunately due to illness I had to attend the ambulatory care unit in Wishaw General. The admission process was very good and staff were excellent at explaining what was going to happen. Although the place was clearly really busy, everyone was pleasant, friendly and approachable. It is a great service and I want to thank the staff of all levels for the care I received. The only thing I think could perhaps be improved is that patients in here are not offered an evening meal, I know it is a place where maybe a lot of people would be fasting or unable to have a meal but I was quite hungry having not ate since 11am which made me feel lightheaded and dizzy. I probably should have asked a member of staff but given it was really busy I didn't want to add to that as I am sure they had more important things to be focusing on. Other than that I had a really good experience and level of care.
"Everyone was pleasant"
