About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Dermatology

I had an appointment for a check on some areas to my face where the skin had changed. Having had previous BCC it was something I was concerned about. 

The receptionist was friendly and I wasn’t waiting long before Charlotte called me in to a side room where she explained I could have a full skin check if I wanted and it was always good to have this. I was given a gown to put on and left to get changed while Charlotte got the doctor. Dr Divekar put me completely at ease and explained what I had on my face was Actinic Keratosis I had the choice of having it frozen or cream to apply. I chose to have it frozen and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Everything was explained well and the after care I would need to do. I would feel very happy should the need rise to go again. Wonderful team and service we are so lucky in the UK especially in Cornwall.
