About: Cancer Services / Living With & Beyond Cancer (Fern Centre)

(as the patient),

I was recommended by a fellow walker of the North Devon Prostate Cancer Support Group to contact the Fern Centre; the new Cancer and Wellbeing Centre to see what was on offer.

I spoke with Holly who was very enthusiastic and encouraged me to sign up for some therapies which I did: reflexology, tai chi and yoga.

I really enjoyed today’s Tai Chi session via the internet; my first!

'Early doors' for me but others should certainly give the Fern Centre a call, have a chat or just pop-in to see what's on offer

It is so good to know that you have enjoyed your group tai chi session with Warren- he is an amazing instructor and I know from others that he makes people safe and have confidence in their ability to do a low impact exercise.

I look forward to hearing how you enjoy the yoga when it starts up again in September, but in the meantime please call in for a chat if you are at the hospital.
