Anything else?
I visit yearly to have my condition monitored and I am extremely satified with all aspects of my care and the way I am treated from the moment I drive into the car park into a parking space near the entrance. This is important as I have limited mobility. The staff are professional and courteous; the hospital is always clean and bright; the systems employed throughout my visits all work well; and I am generally seen with very little wait. There was one occasion where a doctor was called away on an emergency leaving just one doctor in clinic doing two lists. This involved a longer wait, but staff kept all patients informed and were apologetic. The doctor himself even made a brief visit to the waitng room to apologise and explain.
I do visit other hospitals to see other consultants in relation to my condition and I would rate Withington as the best of all of them, in all aspects of patient care, environment and eficiency. I feel confident that I, as the patient, am getting the best from the NHS.
Thank you
