"Fractured Tibia"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as the patient),

I suffered a broken tibia in a freak accident on the side lines at a football match.

I had a long wait in A&E but when i went through, I was treated with great care and dignity by Kerry who was on shift that night and a credit to the NHS. Please thank her from me, 5 star service and staff member

Being moved to the ward during my time on the Ward 10d Orthopeadic I came in contact with Ann, Ricki, Lisa and an Older Nurse called Annie, and I would like to raise to your attention that each of these staff members are also a great credit to the NHS and I would like to recommend them all for special recognition for going above and beyond and there treatment of me was also 5 star. I could not have asked for better help and I tried to thank them each.

Dear Jazzy

Thank you for your lovely feedback and for taking the time to tell us of your experience of using the A&E and Orthopaedics Departments of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was heart warming to hear how the staff treated you with dignity and respect throughout your journey and made you feel at ease.

I will be delighted to pass on your thanks to the staff involved who I'm sure will be humbled to hear how they made a difference while you were in their care.

Please take care and stay safe

Kind regards

Kevin
