Positive experience and the staff have been fantastic. Staff always come over when needed and are very attentive always having time for me.

My A& E experience before getting admitted to the ward was very bad. The chairs are very uncomfortable to be waiting such a long time in. Some people where also being quite abusive to staff and that made me feel very uncomfortable. A& E was  very busy and there was not much privacy as I could hear what people where being told behind the next curtain.

Transport from A& E to my ward was very good and I feel very safe in my ward. Staff have made me feel at home and I am never reluctant to ask a question. I am kept well informed about my care and feel my treatment is adequate so far although I would like to see faster waiting times and result releases from scans that I got as I feel I'm waiting very long.

Dear MA2cw79 - thank you for sharing the details of your experience with us. It is lovely to read that overall you have had a positive experience and that the staff made you feel at home and have been attentive to your needs.

At the minute we are experiencing an increase in attendances at the emergency department and we do appreciate that the wait can be long. I will raise the issue regarding chairs with the relevant staff.
