Anything else?
My mother was admitted here in september for major surgery to remove her stomach and the tumour that was in it.Each day she was fobbed off with reasons why they weren't doing anything to treat her. They failed to reduce her calcium levels so she could be treated and left her unattended for hours, even when she pushed the buzzer, sitting a few feet away having a gossip.
I have written 2 reviews on here and have yet to recieve a reply, why?because they show the hospital as it is.I have logged a complaint and told it would be looked into and I would get a reply within 45 days, that was at begining of December 2012 and I am still waiting for them to even start their initial enquiry.
My mother has since passed away and she recieved more love, care and treatment in her final week from the St Wilfreds nurses that she recieved at any point from August 2012-February 2013 in either this hospital or Eastbourne Hospital.
I look forward to a complete enquiry into this appalling lack of care
"total lack of care or interest in the patients"
