"Depression, Anxiety, Trauma"

About: Ealing IAPT

(as the patient),

I finally took the plunge to start therapy after a stressful episode and got connected with Mehnaz. She was very challenging and made me reframe some of my self-destructive behavioural patterns. I have had close friends and family members notice that I carry myself slightly differently, but most importantly, I notice those differences myself. My therapist was incredibly attentive and gentle in pushing me out of my comfort zone, and I feel bittersweet about the therapy having ended, but as we've both said on our final session: I have the tools now and I'll continue using them.

Dear petri,

Thank you for leaving your feedback on Care Opinion, following your Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) sessions with Mehnaz. DIT is a very challenging, yet rewarding therapy and I am pleased to hear that you felt Mehnaz was attentive and gentle, and at the same time challenged some of your behavioural patterns.

I will make sure your feedback reaches Mehnaz and the rest of the team.

Many thanks
Ealing IAPT
