my partner was admitted to the day unit last august 29th for examination of the prostate he was told by the urologist he could have general anaesthetic but when the time he was told he was going to have epidural which my partner did not wish to have as its very uncomfortable procedure in the end my par tner ,had general after much argument by the doctor who did the procedure, after the op,he was put in ward where a male nurse kept checking on my partner by lifting the sheets off to look at him my partner was very uncomfortable by this as he had nothing on but a gown,he then asked if he could use the toilet in which case this nurse helped him to the loo made sure he was ok,but being in discomfort he had passed a lot of blood this male nurse came in shouting 'I could catch anything from these I shouldnt be working in this department', it made my partnerr feel dreadful and couldnt wait to get out of the hospital,we didnt know if we would be taken serious if we wrote to the hospital and let them know or if it would be too late as its been bothering him and myself ever since last august.
