"Excellent Care in Trying Times"

My GP practice has always been brilliant since I joined a few years ago, much better than my previous GP surgery who I could not get an appointment with at all.

The pandemic has been trying for everyone but I cannot fault this practice. I've had to utilise them a number of times and each time I've been communicated with promptly and had my issue resolved (AskMyGp app is brilliant by the way!). 

Yesterday I got in touch because my toddler is unwell. I was offered a same day face to face appointment that very day which I was really impressed with. I ended up having one the next day instead and the reception staff were lovely. Whilst I was sat in the waiting room they had to deal with rude and abusive members of the public but dealt with this professionally and I was really impressed. I felt so awful that they have to put up with that when they were just trying to help. 

We were saw very close to appointment time so no waiting around, doctor was quick and efficient and got to the bottom of our issue. He was excellent with my toddler and I really felt listened to as a mum - sometimes it can feel like we are being dismissed but not on this occasion. 

So I just wanted to say thankyou for all you do especially during these hard times. Keep up the good work and I hope people learn to be nicer to you
