I have been today for another injection for endometriosis & once again got a lovely nurse who was also training! As normal she asked & listened to my opinions on treatment whilst explaining thoroughly & professionally to to trainee nurse & gave me my injection with the care & professionalism I have become used to with the Women’s Health Department at Leigh Infirmary!
Within one scan & consultation with the amazing Consultant Karuppaswarmy I finally had a diagnosis of Endometriosis & a treatment plan! Until moving to Leigh & being referred to her I had gone 20 years in pain & having surgery with no diagnosis or explanation to my condition!
My treatment & care here has been fantastic & all the staff are so nice, caring & understanding & the unit is spotlessly clean always.
The best thing that has ever happened to me has been getting a referral to this wonderful unit & consultant!
I’ve even paid & been private before & never had the answers & treatment I’ve received here!
I would highly recommend & feel sorry for people like me in the past who don’t have this kind of care!
