"My ENT Appointment"

About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as a service user),

After being referred to ENT, I had to wait over three months for an appointment, I was sent through to the Audiologist that said my ears were congested. This person made me feel like a leper, I tried to explain that they were clear a couple of weeks before but I had been suffering with recurrent infection and extreme pain for months they ignored my comments!

I was referred for a CT Scan and was curtly told it was a five week waiting list. I attended my appointment and now nearly a month later, still in extreme pain and with NO diagnosis, and no new ENT appointment I am still waiting and losing faith in the ENT Department and am filled with dread for when I return, when ever that is of course!
