I visited a friend at the hospital and noted that the toilets near the entrance were a potential source of cross contamination. The toilets have two heavy swing doors at the entrance which means that anyone using the toilets has to pull hard on two separate door handles when using the toilets. If everyone washes their hands then no problem but in the real world this system ensures that every person using the toilets shares contamination left on the door handles. There is along corridor leading to the toilets (mens) so the solution could be as simple as removing the doors. I wrote to the hospital about it received no reply.
