After being on home treatment for the past 28 years, coming into Torrington hospital every two weeks for my intravenous infusion has taken off the pressure that I feel when doing it at home, putting in my own needle and making sure all runs smoothly.
The nursing staff are truly caring, wonderful and efficient. I could not ask for better care. It has also taken the pressure off my wife who is my partner on home treatment. During Covid when I have been shielding it has also given me the opportunity to talk to the healthcare professionals in a very clean and safe environment.
The only concern I have is the lighting is very poor and I struggle to read while on treatment.
