NHS Scotland test and protect have recorded me as asymptomatic despite me listing symptoms and having a bad cough.
They wouldn't accept that my symptoms started several days earlier
They have informed my GP that I should be isolating for 10 days after my test.
In addition I have stitches following surgery which have been in place for more than 3 weeks
This doesn't seem sensible but because NHS test and Protect have decided my isolation started 6 days after my symptoms I cannot enter a hospital or GP surgery for removal of stitches.
I contacted test and protect today as I never received text or email telling me when to isolate to, but found out from gp receptionist today.
Test and Protect said someone will contact me.
At the moment I only know what GP receptionist told me so no idea how long to isolate or when I can get stitches removed.
I am hoping hospital will phone tomorrow re stitches.
I understand covid takes priority but don't believe no one can check my wound or remove stitches safely. By the time I get to the end of isolation suggested by GP receptionist stitches will be in place for 4 weeks
