"People still show how caring they are"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Just home from an overnight stay in Ward 1 after Day Surgery.

From the moment I walked into Day Surgery I was made to feel welcome and reassured.

Anaesthetists went to great lengths to make sure the anesthetic was suitable for me and the Doctors made sure that I knew exactly what the procedure was.

On returning to ward 1 from surgery I can honestly say every single member of staff showed me kindness, professionalism and respect.

They were very busy but always had time for me and I was never rushed or made to feel I was troubling anyone.

As.a nurse in another health board it made my heart glad to know that despite the additional pressures just now people still show how caring they are.

Thank you all so much, be proud of your team

Good morning.

I was really please to hear of your experience within the day surgery unit at Stobhill Hospital.

As a nurse, you will know how heartening it is for staff to receive positive feedback from our patients and I will ensure that the staff within the unit are made aware of your comments.

I trust you are making a good recovery following your procedure and I would like to thank you for taking the time to contact us via Care Opinion.

Yours sincerely,

John Stuart

Chief Nurse.
