"Waste of time"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

Attended for an oncology appointment only to be told I would get a telephone call as the consultant was off sick. I travelled all the way form Normanton had half a day off work, so did my husband so he could take me. As my appointment was for 12.00 noon surely someone could have rung. I did receive a phone call and was actually told the consultant I was booked with no longer saw oncology patients. My letter said 'your appointment is valuable' - obviously not in my case!
