"Family centred care"

Our daughter was admitted under the care of the fantastic paediatric team in Daisyhill last week.

Nov 2020.

The family centred care and medical and nursing care she and I received  over the next week was second to none . We couldnt fault one thing of how we were treated throughout the current pandemic throughout our stay.

We were informed of all interventions required and needed, consent and rationale given, our daughters needs always respected  and considered for her young age of 11 months.

 

Between the day and night staff, consultants, nurses , clerks and domestics it helped make a stressful event more tolerable and emphasised to us what great outcomes effective  team work can achieve.

We as a family are very grateful  to be home again and our daughter on the mend.

As much as we are glad to be discharged, we will miss all of your smiles and your friendly banter .

You are indeed all heroes. 😍
