"Seasonal flu vaccine"

About: NHS Fife

(as the patient),

My experience of my flu jab was excellent in Glenrothes, but perhaps I was expecting the slower service because of heightened awareness and obvious concern this year. I tried to phone a couple of times, but lines were understandably busy so I sent an email. Then 5 days later my appointment reply came for the following week in Rothes Halls. The setup in there was smooth, friendly nurses and very slick.

I am actually a little disappointed with some of the people of Fife who maybe didn't have a such a good experience or expected more. Perhaps we are spoilt in the modern age with all the big corporates investing millions in contact centres and auto booking technology. The NHS won't have all that stuff, so we just need to be a bit less selfish, show some understanding and stop all the NHS bashing, 6 months ago we were all stood on the doorstep clapping!
