"very unconformtable also degrading having members..."

About: North Manchester General Hospital

What I liked

The only thing i Liked was the staff on the night shift and a few nurses on the day.

What could be improved

I was in north manchester for 3 days. I had a major operation, when arriving on the ward i was not at all well. That evening the ward was very noisey with men and children walking up and down at all times of the day and night. I was on ward F4 which had all females on. The day after i found out that at the bottom of the ward there were two clinics for out-patients one of being 24hours a day i found that this did not help me with my recovery and people was walking around all night which i didnt get any sleep, all i wanted to do was go home. I found this was degrading at night as the curtains wernt shut at night and i felt there was no privacy. I think this 24 hour out-patient department should have another entrance away from F4 or should be moved.

Anything else?

Also the night staff had time to do all the nessary checks than the day staff as i should of had a temperate check reguarly and i wasnt checked from 8am through to 8:30pm which on a number of occassions i felt hot and i feel this is not acceptable.
