I was referred to Salisbury ENT regarding nose and breathing problems
they could not get an endoscopy through my nose but said it was OK.
A Few months later lumps and swelling appeared in my mouth. The junior registrar looked inside said use Bicarbonate of Soda to reduce inflammation. I said if that was the treatment why didn't a Dr tell me this in the first place. It has not made any difference and the lumps are spreading. But I have no faith in going back to the same department.
I now do not know what do do about it, as I felt that it was a waste of time going there in the first place.
After watching a Consultant on TV saying that anything different in your mouth needs investigating especially if lumps or changes of colour its important for it to be tested.
Later on I found out I had a broken septum which was compromising my breathing and had an operation else where. I really do not think this is good practice being fobbed off.
