"Amazing care from gynaecology team"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Had an abcess which didn't respond to antibiotics and became worse. I felt terrible and it ended up needing drained. The doctor and nurse that looked after me were amazing from start to finish. The doctor in ward 210 was called Faye and im unsure of the nurses name. Both of them were amazing from start to finish. It was a painful procedure but they put me at ease and were patient and caring with me. They looked after me wonderfully and respected my dignity at all times. Id love for them to receive this feedback because they are a credit to the NHS. Massive thanks from me

Dear Lorenzo

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of ward 210.

I'm glad you're feeling better now that the abscess has been drained. I can only imagine how painful the procedure was!

Please be assured that I will pass on your thanks to Faye and the nurse who cared for you. They will be pleased to know they put you at ease and that you found them respectful of your dignity.

Take care

Frances
