What I liked
Will wait and see if my appt does ever get confirmed
What could be improved
My surgery referred me via Chosse & Book through to the menopause clinic at Leeds. Initially I had accidentally been referred through to the PMS clinic but after checking with several members of the Leeds team by both myself and my practice we were told how told correct this. I receeived one appt letter and then a cancellation saying I had been moved to a more appropriate clinic. I was then told over the phone that a new appt letter would be sent to me that was on the 31 August. I did not receive a new appt so last week called to see what was happening I was told a duplicate appt letter would be sent to me. Still nothing as of today .
After speaking to a member of the gynae admin today I have been told a duplicate letter has never been sent . I have been told another has been resent. I need a copy of my appt letter to confirm to my employer that I need time off and also to arrange cover. I have to say my experience of the hospital so far is not great. How can it be so hard to firstly give correct info about how to refer someone and then to actucally confirm it to them? If I do ever get to the appt if it isn't cancelled I hope I get treated better than I have been so far
