What I liked
the tea counter
What could be improved
certain nurses attitudes towards people.
train nurses to read peoples paperwork before they try to carry out any eye exams so they get an idea of peoples conditions,
inform people about having to wait hours after theyre appointment time before they are able to see the consulttant.
they could try treating people as people and not like bits of meat.
Anything else?
this was my 3rd visit to this hospital, and iam now tottaly disgusted with the place,
it has cost me £45 in fares for the visits, for absolutely nothink?, recently i was left to wait without being informed that there was very long delays?, its like no one can be bothered at that place, ive recently moved to cornwall, and ive never known a hospital that seems to care less for people , i do not think i will ever go back to that place again, as i would be to worried about the treatment concerning my eye surgery, the place lacks leadership and organisation,
and i think this hospital is a total disgrace even for nhs standards, even certain reception staff tell people not to bother if you enquire about help with the travelling costs?,
people should remember that if you want some respect, you have to show some respect?.
