"My Mother’s collapse"

About: Fairfield General Hospital / Cardiology Royal Oldham Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My Mother was found on her lounge floor on Sunday in Feb and we suspect she had been there all night. She was taken to the Royal Oldham and after lots of tests she was found to have had a stroke. I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses technicians and support staff for their kind and professional care. She was transferred to Fairfield stroke unit but had to wait until 17. 30h for them to do this (just a small complaint) as my mother is old, frail and has dementia and gets upset if she can’t go home.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about the good service and experience your Mother received, when she attended Fairfield Hospital and The Royal Oldham Hospital.

Your kind comments will be passed onto the teams who were involved in your Mother's care.

We wish your Mum well.

Kind regards

The Patient Experience Team
