During the week, I was offered a Sunday Consultation at Crosshouse Hospital Kilmarnock. Gastro. It was listed as an 'Extra Session'
Was seen by Dr. Khan. Lovely man who went out of his way to 'explain things' to me. He knew my medical history and commented on how well I was managing my diabetes. (Not his speciality). He also asked me what I thought about being offered a Sunday appointment.
The receptionist and Nurse (weight check etc) were also very helpful.
THIS level of team work and support is important to me and much appreciated.
