"Long wait for treatment and not told of alternatives"

About: Connect Physical Health

(as the patient),

Had a telephone assessment appointment with a physio who said I should be seen  - offered first available appointment which was in 6 weeks time.

Looked on their website and found that the service was offered at other local sites. 

Rang them - got an appointment in 2 weeks time at a GP practice 10 minutes away by bus. Very pleased! 
But why was I not offered an earlier appointment at another local site or given the chance to take a cancellation?

I have already submitted a complaint about the long wait for treatment.

Thank you for the prompt reply, but I asked a specific question, namely: In view of the long wait for an appointment at St Albans Hospital, why was I not offered a cancellation or an earlier appointment at another local Connect Health site? I eventually had to find this out for myself.

So, I don't see the need to "discuss it in more detail" - I would just like a response to my question.
