"Wonderful care"

I was an inpatient for 3 weeks after breaking my femur as a result of a fall. I received wonderful treatment from all the medical staff before and after my surgery. Although many of the other elderly patients on the ward suffered from dementia, the nurses and carers were always helpful, kind and patient. Communication between staff and myself and family was excellent. Senior nursing staff were always available to give my daughter updates and explanations of my care and progress - time given kindly and willingly, including returning phone calls as well as face-to-face. A heartfelt ‘Thankyou’ to everyone on the ward!
