In October, I received a right index finger knuckle replacement procedure by Mr Putti, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. I consider the operation a huge success and here, I would like to express my sincere and grateful thanks to Mr Putti for his skill, his empathy, his dedication to excellence and to patient care.
Unfortunately, I had to have a period of about 3 weeks or so in Forth Valley Royal hospital and want to thank so many in Ward 31, doctors, nurses, consultants, assistants, cleaners, food and beverage staff, some who went the extra mile. I cant remember all the names of those who attended me but can recall Carole, Nicole, Michelle, Pamela (diabetic consultant) Dr Eric and all Doctors on the ward and again Mr Putti. Thank you everyone.
My only negative comment would be this; as a patient with type 2 diabetes, much of the food is not conducive to trying to maintain a balanced glucose level. Too many carbs and sugar. If meals can be specially prepared for those with a cultural or religious requirement, then, with the rising tsunami of diabetic related problems, isn't it time, on the menu, to have more food choices which help heal and create health? That said, given the challenges of large scale catering, the menu was diverse and varied
