"Unit 1 and my father's care"

My father William spent his last few weeks in unit 1. I was an enrolled nurse for years and also marie curie.. I have not seen such caring happy staff for a long time.

My father was happy always clean and he loved the food.. He was fragile and vulnerable but he was treated so compassionately and respectfully by all members of staff. He became very ill suddenly and we were informed quickly. The charge nurse Graham then informed that due to my father's condition it would be unwise to ambulance him to Larbert I was so thankful... My father passed away with all his family around him... Peaceful and dignified.. I thank all the staff in unit 1 for the very best and professional care of my father and us.. Graham you should be so proud of your team and all the changes you've made...
