"Absolute Joke"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Neurology

After being on the waiting list for months I eventually got an appointment, consultant neurologist I saw was dismissive, patronising and basically said he didn't know why I had certain symptoms but booked a scan to shut me up. I questioned if it could be X to be told no you're too young. This apparently is a medical reason for dismissing a condition with several present symptoms. Outstanding work. What an utter waste of time, particularly as I had to travel an hour away, I don't drive so family gave up their precious time for this farcical.

Going to be seeking second opinion with a more competent clinician.
