I would like to thank everyone who looked after me when I was admitted for emergency brain surgery following a sub arachnoid haemorrhage. I can’t remember the being admitted or the first couple of days but I need to thank the surgeons who fitted the drain and the coils. Thanks for saving my life. After being on ICU which I also can’t remember I was moved to Moorgate ward where I received excellent care from all the staff. Everyone was helpful and kind. I was in Derriford for 18 days before being transferred to RD&E in Exeter.
