"Attending an outpatient appointment"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was referred to an urgent outpatient appointment in Gynaecology. I received an appointment quickly and written information arrived in the post a few days later detailing what to expect on the day. However, I was feeling anxious about the appointment. I was seen by a specialist nurse and advanced nurse practitioner who were excellent, they understood my fears but explained everything clearly and performed relevant tests. At the end of the appointment the nurse practitioner summarised the results of the tests. I just wanted to say thank you to the nurses for their kindness and professionalism.

Dear Lezah

Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely feedback. I will pass this onto the staff involved who work hard to deliver great care so this feedback is very much appreciated.

I hope you have recovered and have been reassured.

regards

Mary
