"My MS experience"

About: Edgware Community Hospital / Neurological Rehabilitation Centre

(as the patient),

I want to let everyone I've ever been in contact with that I feel extremely lucky and thankful for their help and support. My major problems stem from my cognitive and fatigue issues which effect every part of my life. I have always been made to feel included. My issues unfortunately prevent me from utilising them to the fullest, alas to try and make me feel obligated to attend classes/activities can result in me putting stress on myself which in turn results in me not being able to participate. Thankfully I have NEVER been made to feel this from my nurse/doctors. Family and friends over the years have but now as a result of me vocalising this it happens less and less. I am not a lonely person and I understand that others may see my isolation as a problem, it is not. I know the support is there if I need it and for that I am so appreciative and grateful.
