"An essential service"

About: Borders Community Services / Hospital to home service

(as a relative),

It was an essential service, Hospital to Home, which made the transition from hospital to home much less stressful.

The NHS nurses were unobtrusive and caring which made theor visits welcoming and helpful

Their advice was invaluabe and guidance when infection (bladder) was detected speeded up the obtaining of neccessary antibiotics.

They also provided essential materials when possibe and suddenly neccessary to make my caring job effective & possible.

To sum up we have experienced a 1st class service, greatly appreciated by ourselves and our family, who do not reside nearby.

Dear Heroneq69,

Thank you so much for your feedback about our Hospital to Home service. I'm really pleased to hear our nurses were caring, and also responsive when this was needed. We aim to support people in their transition home from hospital and I am happy that this worked so well for your family.

I will ensure that our team receive your feedback and hope that your relative continues to make a good recovery at home.

With best wishes,

Erica.
