"Orthoptic Outpatients"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Ophthalmology & Optometry

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended Orthoptic clinic at University Hospital Monklands today with my nine year old son who is Autistic. Both staff we saw were outstanding. They were patient, kind and built up a great rapport with him in a very short time, and   took all the assessments at his pace to help him cope.

Dear Twinmum43,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback through Care Opinion. I'm sure you played your part in letting staff know how best to communicate with your son, but it's really important for staff to listen and make that connection with people and I'm delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience.

I've shared your feedback with the Head of Orthoptic services who will be congratulating the staff on a job well done.

Kind regards

Rick
