"mixed feelings"

About: Watford General Hospital

waiting time over four hours, in a small room which was too hot, people were vomiting,, and in distress, no one came to check on us.the toilet was dirty, after 4hours waiting I see an excellent Dr, but she should not have had to wheel me around to X-ray. The X Ray dept ment another dirty toiolet, there is a bloody dressing out side the X Ray door, tissues all over the floor.i am taken to a ward for the night, I am told they are three staff Down there are no washing facilities, but I can request in the morning, which I did, but never recieved them in over 16hours.ward toiolet not clean. Messy, noisy nurses station, the quality of service. Given by a few staff and lack of empathy towards others on the ward left me feeling unconfident. And upset .the student nurse was excellent with great empathy, this can't be taught.more experienced staff coul learn from this.there was poor communication, re transport and mixed messages given to me, my wishes were not respected.it is sad to see things decline in the NHS the Dr, physiotherapist, and night nurse, student nurse, and most of the ward staff I would like to thank. Others clearly need more training.
