About: Dorset County Hospital / General medicine

I would like to take this opportunity to say how fantastic the Emergency ambulatory care were. I had visited my surgery in the morning with breathing difficulties and pain in my chest, this was my third visit to the GP as it was not getting any better. My GP called the hospital and spoke with a practitioner nurse and he arranged for me to come up straight away and saw me immediately and did some blood tests and an X-ray. He suspected it was a blood clot and arranged a CT scan. I was seen as well be a consultant who put me at ease. The staff were so frequently and efficient.

Hello, it is fantastic to hear about the care you received from the Emergency Ambulatory team– this is the high standard of care that we hope to achieve for all our patients, and it is great to see we are getting it right.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback to let us know how we are doing – I will ensure the Emergency Ambulatory team are made aware of your great comments and I hope you are feeling better.

Best wishes
