Only alive due to the fast attention from the medi vac. Then the fabulous staff at the ICU. Staff in all of the wards were professional, very hard working and all had a cheery disposition that made a very stressful situation easier. The staff on ward 27 deserve a medal AND a pay rise! Despite a string of abusive, disruptive patients they remained totally professional even one of them was knocked unconscious by a patient who had clearly been put in the wrong ward.
Every single member was fantastic despite being under tremendous pressure but gliding like swans on the surface and paddling like mad behind the scenes. They deserve a medal.
Especially impressed by Tracy Jayne, Sam, Lorraine and Eric. Big thanks x
