I recently had to be admitted to the respiratory ward at Solihull Hospital where I spent 2 nights and would like you to relay my gratitude for the care I received during my stay.
The HCAs worked very hard and treated the elderly patients in my bay with great respect and patience. I am an occupational therapist and was self caring during my stay. I was particularly impressed with the HCAs' encouragement for patients to get out of bed and walk, if able, to the toilet. The food and beverages I received were very good - lovely hot tea and toast as well as snacks throughout the day. I received good medical care from the consultants and am recovering very well. Please ensure that you pass on my praise to the staff on Ward 19.
"Good care"
