Anything else?
I have recently wrote a letter to the doctor my mum was seeing at the hospital. My mum came into the hospital at the end of Feb 2012. She has lung volume reduction surgery. All seemed to go well. They operated on the one lung. But couple of nights before she was discharged she had a few problems. I believe some problems were with the drain. But then on the 8th of march she was discharged. But she was waiting for over 5 hours in the discharge lounge. She kept asking about how long the transport will be and she was just dismissed. As time got on she was getting pains, again she asked a nurse, she told the nurse she was in pain, but again she was dismissed. She finally got home and went straight to bed. She was in pain, breathless and feeling very tired. Early the next morning i had to call an ambulance and she was rushed into her local hospital. Sadly she passed away early hours on the 10th March 2012. The believed she had an infection and died from respritory failure.
