today my 87 year old aunt, her disabled son and their carer all travelled from kingsbridge to derriford by hospital transport for a ct scan. on arrival they were told the appointment was cancelled due to it being too soon since my aunt's discharge from hospital 2 weeks ago. why on earth didn't you ring home before they set out, they're all exhausted now. it's a total waste of resources and time.
