"Hugely impressed with the efficiency and care"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Pre-Op Assessments

(as the patient),

I attended pre op assessment last week for hip replacement and was hugely impressed with the efficiency and caring way that the appointment was handled.   My first appointment with Mr Picard was at 9. 00am and he immediately put me at ease, talked me through my X-ray and explained the procedure.   Over the next few hours I saw the OT, Radiologist, Assessment Nurse, Pharmacist, Nurse Specialist, Anaesthetist and Physios.   In between I had a cup of tea in the atrium and lunch in the dining room! Home by 2. 00pm.   Hurray for the NHS and great service Golden Jubilee.
