"Disappointing experience"

I am most disappointed with the attitude of the doctor at my outpatients appointment today. This was my first appointment with a doctor at Heart of Hounslow. The receptionist was present throughout the appointment - I have no idea why. I have had many appointments with doctors and surgeons over the last 9 years and have never experienced such a rude, impatient and abrupt medical professional as I have today. I am a huge supporter of our NHS and have received nothing but an excellent service in the past, despite the enormous pressures and daily challenges faced by staff.

It saddens me that I feel compelled to write such a negative review but I can only assume the medical professional I met with was having a ‘bad day’. I sincerely hope that is the case and she will not treat other patients with the same level of disdain that I was subjected to. I am under the impression that I will be having a follow-up appointment with this person but I will be requesting that my GP refers me to another doctor or indeed, a different hospital.
