"Trouble trying to find a pay station"

I looked around the outside car park for a pay station. There were arrows but no pay stations. The notices states pay on way out, So I drove out but there were no pay stations at the exit. I went home and tried to use the pay by phone service, I got the phone number from internet. After wasting so many calls & about 30 minutes with an automated machine that was unhelpful, trying to pay by phone. I drove back to the hospital. I went into Outpatients & asked the receptionist for help. They were very very helpful they showed me the pay stations in the outpatients & advised there are pay stations in A& E. I told her my concern about not being able to pay for my earlier visit, she managed to sort it for me. This whole episode could be avoided if the notices state where the pay stations are situated.
